Terms of Service

FieldTroop is a field service management platform designed for trades contractors (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and similar businesses). The Service includes:

• Job scheduling and dispatching
• Client and estimate management
• Proposals with digital signature capabilities
• Invoicing and payment processing
• Expense and receipt tracking
• AI-powered email agent and automation tools
• Team and employee management
• Third-party integrations (Google, QuickBooks, Stripe, etc.)

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your team members comply with these terms
• Providing accurate and up-to-date business information
• Obtaining any necessary consents before connecting third-party services (e.g. Gmail)

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@fieldtroop.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the platform
• Misrepresent your identity or business information
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

Paid plans are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice
• Failed payments may result in suspension of your account
• Taxes may be added based on your location

FieldTroop integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail, Calendar), QuickBooks, Stripe, and others. When you connect these services:

• You authorize FieldTroop to access and process data from those services on your behalf
• You agree to the terms of service of those third-party providers
• FieldTroop is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services
• You may revoke access at any time from your account settings

Gmail integration: When you connect your Gmail account, FieldTroop reads incoming emails to automate business workflows. We do not store email content beyond what is necessary to operate the Service, and we never use your email data for advertising.

Your data: You own all business data you enter into FieldTroop (clients, jobs, invoices, etc.). You can export your data at any time.

Our platform: FieldTroop and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Afila Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without any obligation to compensate you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldTroop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Either party may terminate these terms at any time. You may cancel your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After that period, data may be permanently deleted.
